We are seeking developed leaders to support the business by communicating, training, and coaching all employees on Chick-fil-A’s procedures and policies. The Training Director will oversee the initial and reoccurring training of employees in the continual pursuit of “Operational Excellence” while creating a positive work culture in either the Front or Back of the restaurant. The Training Director is in constant communication with their Lead Director and with the leadership team.

Qualifications
Experience as a leader or a trainer
Proven ability to lead in team-based, fast-paced environments
Basic computer competency
Required skills
Displays enthusiasm, courtesy, and hospitality by incorporating operational excellence, 2nd mile service, and emotional connections with our guests and employees
Ability to handle multiple tasks at once while working at a quick, yet efficient, and thorough pace
Ability to communicate effectively with both guests and team members

Willingness to step outside of job role to assist in other roles
Displays patience, a desire to continuously learn, comfort with diversity and emotional intelligence
Must be an excellent coach, delegator, communicator and team builder
Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position, which includes, but is not limited to, standing for 8 hours and lifting up to 40 pounds
Responsibilities
Demonstrates knowledge of the brand and menu items
Models and supports clear communication between the front counter and kitchen staffs
Follows Chick-fil-A’s operational policies and procedures
Develops employees through a training program and coaching
Works with the Lead Director to develop the team while creating a positive work culture
Works with the Lead Director to revise training plan as needed based on needs and efficiency
Completes recurring training with current employees for continual development and knowledge of the brand
Tracks and communicates employee development with assessments, evaluations, etc. to the leadership team
Communicates employee performance and policy/procedure violations to Lead Director
Complete understanding of key positions in either the front or back of the restaurant
Takes initiative during non-peak hours to complete side duties
Troubleshoots minor guest issues
Maintains a clean and pleasant environment
Position type
Full-time pay range (32 hours or more per week): $18 per hour
